Perth and the West Coast

It is true what they say about the West Coast; the air is cleaner the sky is bluer and the ocean is crystal clear.  We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days there, though it was far too short a time.

Having been delayed in Alice for two extra days, we felt like the need to get out and on the road so we visited Perth at the end of the trip.

These first 8 shots taken at Myalup Beach, about 200km S of Perth.  I believe this is the most spectacular sunset I have ever seen; the shots were taken over and 18 min period

 

Can you see the little soldiers guarding the cave?  They are really just stalactites dressed as soldiers!!
